При инсталляции назначается пользовательский пароль и затем, после введения пароля открывается Основное окно, в котором можно: Hide - скрыть выбранную папку; Reveal - отменить скрытый режим; Change Password - сменить пароль. Если установлен режим Скрыть папку, то папка становится невидимой в Проводнике и в других файловых менеджерах, даже после закрытия Folder Guard. Чтобы сделать папку видимой, нужно снова открыть программу и отменить скрытый режим. Для этого, разумеется, придется вводить пользовательский пароль.
